Note Callout

What the Note Callout does

Note Callout creates a rounded text box with a pointer tail that attaches to any location on the canvas. It animates in with a pop or slide effect and is ideal for labeling price levels, explaining candle significance, or adding real-time commentary that appears during playback.

How to use the Note Callout

1. Select Note Callout from Drawing Tools and click to place the callout anchor point.
2. Type your note text. The callout pointer snaps to the bottom corner and can be repositioned.
3. Adjust tail direction, box size, font size, and background color.

When to use it

• Label a specific price level with context like "Previous Week High" directly on the chart.
• Add step-by-step trade logic that appears as the video plays.
• Annotate patterns with text like "Bearish Engulfing" without covering the candles.

Tips

• Use Typewriter entry mode to have the note text type itself on screen -- great for tutorial-style content.
• Use a subtle dark background with 80% opacity so the chart remains visible underneath.
• Time the callout to appear at the same frame the annotated candle finishes drawing.
