Circle Annotation

Circle any candlestick or price point to draw attention to a specific moment.

Pulse: Burst · Nova · Echo · Beat · Ripple · Sonar

What the Circle Annotation does

Circle Annotation places a circular or elliptical highlight around any element on the canvas. It is the quickest way to draw the viewer's eye to a specific candle, level, or feature. The circle animates in with a draw-around effect. Control size, color, stroke width, and dash pattern. Pulse effects add animated ring animations for extra emphasis on key price levels.

Included on every plan, including Free.

How to use the Circle Annotation

  1. Select Circle from Drawing Tools and click on the canvas to place the center point.
  2. Drag to set the radius, then fine-tune width and height for an ellipse if needed.
  3. Choose stroke color, thickness, and whether it fills or stays as an outline.
  4. Enable Pulse mode to add animated ring effects. Choose from Burst, Nova, Echo, Beat, Ripple, or Sonar pulse styles.

When to use it

  • Circle the exact candle where a trade entry signal appeared.
  • Highlight a pin bar or doji that triggered a reversal in a review video.
  • Mark the breakout candle above resistance with a bright circle for emphasis.

Tips

  • Use a dashed circle for a subtler callout that does not overpower the chart.
  • Animate the circle to appear at the same moment the candle draws in for perfect sync.
  • Combine with an Arrow Tool pointing into the circle for double emphasis.
  • Sonar pulse (radar sweep) works brilliantly on key price levels -- it draws the eye without distracting from the candles.
