What the Arrow Tool does

The Arrow Tool draws a straight arrow from any start point to any end point, with the arrowhead animating in at the destination. Use it to point to a specific candle, price level, annotation, or area of interest. Arrowhead size, line thickness, and color are all customizable.

How to use the Arrow Tool

1. Select Arrow from Drawing Tools and click-drag to set direction and length.
2. Choose arrowhead position: End, Start, or Both. Pick Filled or Open arrowhead style and set size from 6 to 40px.
3. Enable Draw animation for a cinematic reveal where the arrow draws itself onto the screen.

When to use it

• Point to the exact breakout candle in a momentum trade video.
• Direct attention to a key support level annotated with a horizontal line.
• Create a before/after comparison with arrows pointing to the key change.

Tips

• Use bright white or your brand accent color for maximum visibility on dark charts.
• Short arrows with large arrowheads work better than long arrows for pointing to candles.
• Stagger multiple arrows at different timeline points for a step-by-step walkthrough effect.
