What the Zone / Rectangle does

Zone and Rectangle lets you place a shaded rectangular overlay anywhere on the canvas. It is the standard tool for marking supply zones, demand zones, consolidation boxes, fair value gaps, and any area of price significance. Control the fill opacity, border color, and corner radius to match your visual style.

How to use the Zone / Rectangle

1. Select Zone from Drawing Tools, then drag on the canvas to define the rectangle boundaries.
2. Choose a zone type preset: SUPPLY, DEMAND, FVG, or S/R. The fill color and label update automatically to match the zone type.
3. Add effects: Shimmer sweeps a light across the fill, Breathe pulses the opacity rhythmically, Scanner adds a moving scan line.

When to use it

• Highlight a supply zone where price previously rejected with a red shaded box.
• Mark a demand zone or order block with a green semi-transparent rectangle.
• Box a consolidation range before a breakout to show the setup visually.

Tips

• Use the Breathe effect on a supply zone to keep it visually alive without distracting from the price action.
• Stack two zones with different colors to show overlapping supply and demand levels.
• Add a Zone early in the timeline so it appears before the candle sequence it annotates.
