Image Overlay

What the Image Overlay does

Image Overlay lets PRO users upload their own PNG, JPEG, or SVG images and place them as layers on the canvas. Images can be resized, repositioned, given opacity control, and animated with entrance and exit effects. Use for custom logos, branded graphics, reference screenshots, or any visual element that needs to appear over your chart.

Available on Pro and Creator.

How to use the Image Overlay

1. Open Overlays and Media and click Image Overlay. Upload a PNG, JPEG, or SVG file.
2. Resize and reposition the image on the canvas. Set opacity and choose an entrance animation.
3. PNG files with transparent backgrounds let logos and graphics sit cleanly over the chart.

When to use it

• Overlay your channel logo on the canvas for branded exports.
• Place a reference chart screenshot beside your animation for a side-by-side comparison.
• Add a custom graphic of a pattern diagram that appears alongside the live candle animation.

Tips

• Use PNG with transparent background for logos and icons to avoid white boxes.
• Reduce image opacity to 70-80% when overlaying charts so the candles remain readable.
• Place images on the earliest track layer to ensure candle animations render on top.
