Audio Track
Add background music or sound effects synchronized to your chart animation.
What the Audio Track does
Audio Track lets PRO users upload an audio file (MP3, WAV, or AAC) that plays alongside the video export. Set the volume, trim start and end points, and fade in and out. The audio is baked into MP4 and GIF exports so viewers hear music or narration in the final video. Works with any audio source: royalty-free music, sound effects, or personal recordings.
Available on Pro and Creator.
How to use the Audio Track
- Open Overlays and Media and click Audio Track. Upload an MP3, WAV, or AAC file.
- Set volume (0-100%), trim the start and end points, and add fade-in and fade-out.
- The audio bakes into the MP4 export automatically. Set it once and it plays throughout the full video.
When to use it
- Add cinematic background music to a dramatic trade recap video.
- Layer a brief sound effect (whoosh, ding) at the moment a key level breaks.
- Sync a pre-recorded voiceover narration to the chart animation.
Tips
- Use low-volume ambient music (20-30%) so audio does not compete with any voiceover.
- Apply a 0.5s fade-in and 1s fade-out to avoid abrupt audio starts and stops.
- Choose music with a tempo that matches the overall pacing of your animation.
