What the Canvas Background does

Canvas Background controls the base layer of your video canvas. Choose from a solid color, a gradient (linear or radial), or an uploaded image as the canvas backdrop. Preset dark trading themes are available for a quick professional start. Backgrounds are static layers that persist for the entire video duration.

How to use the Canvas Background

1. Open Canvas Settings and select Background. Choose Solid color, Linear gradient, Radial gradient, or Image.
2. Pick from preset dark trading themes or set a custom color. Gradient angle and stop colors are fully adjustable.
3. The background persists for the full video duration as a static layer beneath all overlays.

When to use it

• Set a dark gradient background for a professional trading video aesthetic.
• Use a solid black background for maximum contrast with bright candlestick colors.
• Apply a branded gradient that matches your YouTube channel color scheme.

Tips

• Dark backgrounds (#050912 or similar deep navy-black) work best for trading charts.
• Gradient backgrounds with a subtle radial highlight in the center add visual depth.
• If using an image background, reduce its brightness so chart elements remain prominent.
