What the Market Line does

Market Line renders a continuous smooth price path that draws itself across the canvas from left to right, as if watching a live ticker unfold in real time. Shows a continuous price path with smooth animation and an optional fill area beneath the line. Great for macro overviews, asset comparison videos, and explainer content showing long-term price movement.

How to use the Market Line

1. Select Market Line from Trading Tools and click to place anchor waypoints along the price path.
2. The line draws itself from left to right when the animation plays, simulating a live price feed.
3. Adjust anchor positions by dragging. Add a fill area beneath the line for a polished chart look.

When to use it

• Show the annual price trajectory of a stock or index in a year-in-review video.
• Compare two assets side by side with overlapping market lines in different colors.
• Create an introductory chart animation that sets the scene before zooming in.

Tips

• Use a subtle gradient fill (5-10% opacity) beneath the line for a professional chart-style look.
• Add a pulsing dot at the live endpoint to emphasize the real-time feel.
• Combine with Baseline Chart to show both absolute price and relative performance.
