Keyframe Animation
Animate any layer property over time with keyframes and Bezier curve control.
What the Keyframe Animation does
Keyframe Animation lets you add keyframes to any layer at any point in time to animate position, opacity, scale, and rotation. Between keyframes, ChartAnimator interpolates smoothly using Bezier curves. Create smooth motion paths, fade transitions, zoom-in effects, and complex multi-property animations. Full professional motion graphics control inside a chart animation tool.
Available on Creator.
How to use the Keyframe Animation
- Enable Keyframe Mode in the timeline and scrub to the frame where you want the first keyframe.
- Set the property values (position, opacity, scale, rotation) at that frame. A diamond keyframe marker appears on the timeline.
- Scrub to the next frame and change the property values. The animation interpolates smoothly between keyframes.
When to use it
- Animate a logo sliding in from off-screen and fading to 70% opacity over 1 second.
- Create a camera-zoom effect by keyframing the scale of a chart group from 0.8x to 1.2x.
- Animate a price label moving along a trendline as new candles draw in.
Tips
- Use ease-in-out Bezier curves for natural-feeling motion (avoid linear for everything).
- Keyframe opacity from 0 to 1 for smooth fade-ins instead of instant appearances.
- Duplicate keyframe pairs to create looping pulse animations on any element.
