What the Single Candle Builder does

The Single Candle Builder gives you complete control over one candlestick at a time. Set open, high, low, close, body colour, wick length, and draw-in speed independently. It is the most surgical candle tool in ChartAnimator, used when you need to highlight one specific candle with precision. Perfect for trade-entry annotations, pin-bar callouts, and key reversal candle explainers.

How to use the Single Candle Builder

1. Open Candle Builders in the sidebar and select Single Candle.
2. Choose Bullish (green) or Bearish (red) direction, then adjust body height, upper wick, and lower wick with sliders.
3. Set animation duration and click Add to Canvas. The candle appears as a new timeline layer.
4. Choose an animation preset: AUTO (detects bull/bear direction), REAL (body first then wicks), MARKET (open to close then wicks), or LIVE (full market simulation with price crosses).

When to use it

• Highlight a specific entry or exit candle in a trade recap video.
• Demonstrate a pin-bar or doji pattern in an educational breakdown.
• Annotate a key reversal candle without showing surrounding noise.

Tips

• Reduce animation duration to near zero for a candle that appears instantly.
• Layer multiple single candles at staggered timeline offsets to build a slow-reveal sequence.
• Use with Zone/Rectangle to visually box the candle for emphasis.
• The LIVE preset simulates real price discovery -- for a bullish candle it dips first then rallies, making it ideal for dramatic reveal moments.
