Why After Effects does not work for trading content
These are not opinions. They are the same four reasons every trading educator eventually abandons After Effects.
When After Effects IS the right choice
After Effects is worth the learning curve if you need broadcast-quality motion graphics, animated channel intros with 3D elements, or heavily branded lower-thirds for a large-budget production. Some top finance YouTubers use both - After Effects for the branded package, ChartAnimator for the actual chart content.
For the vast majority of trading educators publishing 2 to 5 videos per week, After Effects is the wrong tool. The time investment to produce each video is not compatible with a consistent publishing schedule.
